ChinaAMC launched the MSCI China A50 ETF(159601) on November 8 to track MSCI China A50 Connect Index. The ETF was listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange on November 11. 

ChinaAMC MSCI China A50 ETF(159601) recorded RMB 3.6 billion trading volume on its debut day, setting a new record debut trading volume of A-share ETFs. It remains the largest and most liquid of its kind in China.

The 50 components of the MSCI China A50 Connect Index are selected by 2 largest market cap companies in each 11 GICS sectors plus 28 other large cap names. Thus, the index is tilted toward large cap and is trying to capture the growth of industry leaders in each sector.
